"Light flooded into the tunnel, silhouetting the enormous shaggy figure in the cave mouth. With a blood-curdling roar, claws outstretched, it bore down on Jamie." - From Doctor Who and The Abominable Snowmen, novelised by Terrance Dicks
As many a UK-resident has probably noticed it has been snowing for the last few days, so I figured a bit of snow themed work would be apt. So here is Jamie McCrimmon - companion to the Second Doctor - confronting one of the robotic Yeti. As we all know, the Yeti's nebulous master, the Great Intelligence made a surprise return in the most recent Christmas special (as hinted at here by my inclusion of some scary snowflakes)... And whilst I enjoyed that story very much, I thought I'd cast my mind back a bit further to when Snowmen in Doctor Who were a bit more abominable
Jamie is from a production photo, and the Yeti was comp.ed together from a production photo of an 'Abominable Snowmen' Yeti, a screencap of a 'Web of Fear' Yeti, and a photo of a bear from Wikimedia.

You are just brilliant! I can't believe you made a Yeti from a bear! I tried to make the Yeti for a photoshop but gave up, but this my friend is fantastic!
Oh you're really far too kind. Thank you so much I really like your work too. Think it's fab. The piece where the young Davros looking at his future reflection is one of my very favourite pieces of all
Thank you, that really means a lot coming from you. Your photo manips always have a flawless, professional quality. Can't wait to see more! Also you commented a while back about my Davros standing up story and said you were working on your own or had the idea previously, I would really love to read it or see the manip.
I love all the blatant call backs to the classic series. I can't wait to see where they go with this. It would be especially cool if they could go back to the 18th century and meet Jamie--still played by Frazer Hines! He would, of course, be married with kids and grandkids, having lived a great life. And maybe my personal fanon would even be made canon by our finding out he's Amy Pond's ancestor.
That would be cool. Certainly far better than the rubbish payoff Grant Morrison gave Jamie in The World Shapers (a story which I like to pretend doesn't exist for a number of reasons)
Haven't read it. But if I did, it would be strictly for more interaction between Six and Jamie. And hey, Jamie was practically geriatric by then, so his death isn't as painful as it would be if he were, say, in his 30s (as he seemed to be in Two Doctors).

It would be a manip. I haven't done anything in the way of creative writing in a very long time :/
